Whitney Now Carrying Specialty Paint/Coating Line from Endura.

Endura Products are now available at Whitney Building Products. Endura is a specialty coating line of Epoxies and Polyurethanes for the Transportation, Maintenance and Construction Industries. Endura Manufactures Specialty Primers and TopCoats for Various substrates. Endura is used on Steel, Various Metals, Concrete, Plastics, and Tile.

Tremco Cold Rubberized Asphalt Waterproofing Product now Available.

Tremco Inc., has introduced an interesting new product to the marketplace called CRA. Tremco CRA is a Cold Rubberized Asphalt Waterproofing System that is installed similarly to conventional Hot Applied Systems, only without the need for Hot Melt Equipment. Tremco CRA would typically be used for Between Slab Waterproofing applications, plaza deck waterproofing applications, and green roof applications. These systems are typically installed up to 215 mils (nearly ¼”) in one application. Protection Board Products, drainage products, and over burden products can be incorporated with CRA to provide a system for the above mentioned types of applications.

CRA has been developed to provide an alternative to conventional Hot Applied Waterproofing systems are typically installed by using Oil Jacketed Kettle Equipment to “Melt” the waterproofing material prior to use. CRA eliminates the need to “warm-up” oil jacketed kettles during day to day operations. Typically it takes two to three hours to warm up a kettle and prepare for the melting and installation of the membrane. CRA also eliminates the need to transport kettles to job-sites as well as getting the kettles near the work area. This can be an added issue depending on where the work area is located on the project. If roof deck areas are hard to access, this makes Hot Applied systems a more difficult system to use logistically.
